Obituaries


William Albright

William "Billy" Marion Albright Jr., a 17-year resident of Bowie, died June 18 at Laurel Regional Hospital. He was 52.

Born Oct. 3, 1955, in Washington, D.C., Mr. Albright graduated from Ovieda High School, Ovieda, Fla. He had been a roofer with various construction companies.

A Washington Redskins fan, he enjoyed hunting, crabbing and sports.

Survivors include his wife, Connie Y. Albright whom he married Aug. 12, 1989; a son, Joseph A. Ramsey of Bowie; a daughter, Karen J. Grogg of Woodbine; his father, William M. Albright Sr. of Louisville, Ky.; four brothers, Gary M. Albright of Columbia, James M. Albright of Queenstown, Steven M. Albright of Calverton and Christopher Albright of Louisville, Ky.; a sister, Theresa M. Krug-Jacob of Laurel; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service was held at Borgwardt Funeral Home, Beltsville. Burial was private.

Annette Blair

Annette E. Blair of Ridgely and formerly of Bowie died June 20 at Memorial Hospital of Easton. She was 61.

Born May 5, 1947, in Washington, D.C., she attended Central High School.

Mrs. Blair was an instructional assistant for Caroline County. She also worked at Forrest Ridge Elementary and most recently at Denton Elementary.

She was a member of Belcroft Bible Church, and volunteered with the Christmas Angels, Grassroots of Howard County, and food drives.

Survivors include her husband, Clarence L. Blair; three daughters, Constance Dancel, Caroline Russo and Cary Magnolia; stepchildren, Marcus Blair, Joy Gross, Lee Walker and Denise Walker; three brothers, Harry, James and Socrates Zois; two sisters, Marie Baker and Helen Anastasi; and nine grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Belcroft Bible Church, 13000 Beechtree Lane, where services will be held Saturday at noon. Burial will be in Columbia Memorial Gardens.

Arrangements are by Donaldson Funeral Home, Laurel.

Patricia Lindner

Patricia A. Lindner of Boscawen, N.H., and formerly of Bowie, died suddenly May 27 at home. She was 44.

Ms. Lindner was born July 6, 1963, in Canandaigua, N.Y. She grew up in the Bowie area and graduated from Bowie High School before moving to New Hampshire.

Ms. Lindner was a library assistant II at the New Hampshire State Library in Concord, N.H. She was a member of many animal organizations including the Humane Society, SPCA and PETA.

Survivors include her brother, Gregory J. Lindner of Orlando, Fla.; and four sisters, Deborah S. Grassi of Carrollton, Texas, Donna M. Holian of Boscawen, N.H., Kelly A. Hamilton of Weatherford, Texas, and Jennifer M. Mariano of Delray Beach, Fla. She was predeceased by her parents, Raymond J. Lindner and Jacqueline M. Osborne Lindner.

A memorial service was held at the New Hampshire State Library. Arrangements were by Dewhirst Funeral Home of Laconia, N.H.
